Observe the Masses, Do the Opposite!

December 31, 2015

I imagine you to be a bit of a fringe dweller. You know, standing on the sidelines looking on as the masses go about their daily lives from one crappy meal to the next. Thinking real food is for “healthnuts” and much too expensive.

The masses look forward to their next meal as if it’s Christ’s Last Supper. Except the food looks much different. SAD food (Standard American Diet) is more often than not, overcooked “dead” food with some canned corn and potatoes thrown in for good measure.

The masses fill their heads with thoughts of chili and other snacks that will lift and brighten their day as the excitement builds for the upcoming ball game. And if their team should lose, they can just go back to feeling like crap and eating more crap.

But you, you’re on the edge. Maybe you’re still addicted to some of the stuff because it hasn’t really hit you yet, industrial food causes malnutrition and toxicity, and will eventually kill you.

Why am I so sure you’re on the edge? You’re reading this aren’t you?

That means you’re not so “dumbed down” that the morning and evening news are the highlights of your day. And you're not habitually exhausting every conversation with tales of how bad and scary the world is.

The masses, they scarcely read, albeit an occasional glimpse at a tabloid headline while in the grocery store. But certainly not anything that might improve their lives. They still believe “Smart Food” popcorn is healthy. And “low fat” junk food is nutritious.

But you, you’re different. There’s a modicum of self-preservation inside you that’s just screaming for you to come to your senses. To get it right, before it’s too late.

Maybe you’re already sick and feeling desperate? What can you do? First and foremost, observe the masses and do the opposite! Turn off the TV, especially the commercials. Most of your brainwashing begins there. Question everything and begin thinking for yourself!

You have an innate mechanism within you called your intuition, or emotional guidance system. Provided you’re not polluted with junk food (one of its many side effects is dementia) or drunk with alcohol, you can feel what is good for you and what is not. Sounds simple because it is.

Now, if you’re addicted to one or more of the tens of thousands of additives in industrial food you have a hard road to hoe. Good news is, you can do it and there’s lots of help.

I envision a future with support groups and rehabs for junk food addicts. I’ve heard it’s tough getting off the stuff and it’s not pretty either.

For those of you who are ready to say good-bye to junk food and its many evil makings, check out the help below. Sometimes you have to understand the worst of it to make the best of it.
