Play Now, Pay Later

Fun, food, games. We want it all NOW. We’re short on time, patience and energy. There’s fun, food and more to be had… Why wait?

Why have we become a generation of people that want everything now, every thing that brings no lasting satisfaction or happiness?

Has living become too predictable; the mundane routine plodding along, just a trace of excitement mounting as the weekend approaches? Or is the anticipation of the next big party the current highlight of your thoughts?

Let me introduce you to the illusion called, “reality.” Reality is something that we “think” is real. But is it really? Let’s look at food for instance. After all this is a food blog. And most often the food in our cupboards is any but real.

Today’s food is a far cry from what we ate a couple decades ago. A lot has changed and it isn’t good. If the food isn’t real, and it’s made from artificial ingredients, what’s does that make your body? An artificial body? A body that’s not real?

One thing is certain, artificial, industrial junk food has created an epidemic of obesity and "dis-ease." That’s the reality. That’s what cheap processed food does for you and your body.

Next time you utter the words, “I can’t afford organic, or real food is too expensive, think about your “real” body and the reality of what it’s going to look and feel like. (If you aren't already disease-ridden and in pain.) If you don’t pay now, you’ll pay later with suffering and medical bills.

If your entertainment consists mainly of sitting around watching mindless reality shows, devouring copious amounts of soda and junk food, and spending your precious resources on gadgets and junk, it’s doubtful you’re reading this.

But if you are, congratulations, you’re one step closer to lifestyle freedom!! And fortunately for you, you just might be a Fringe Dweller.

And if you're curious as to why and how people have become unwitting victims of the *corporate elite, you can read American Genius Fleeces the Masses.
